Interview Question :: Can any one help me to find GSM transmitter Chip and integrate it with SIM reader

I searched on the internet to find chips to design a system that send sms.
i traied to find GSM chip and SIM reader but i failed
are these chips exist?

Blank Sim cards and readers are both available from Ebay, the challenge you will probably face though is programming said device to do what your doing with the sim card as the sim card only controls yoru address book and your service status, if you are trying to program firmware you need to do it with C and a proper library which is notably hard to come by for cell phones.
