Interview Question in Superconductors

Interview Question :: What are the benefits of loss free-power transmission using a superconductor

Also,
what are the benefits of super-fast electronic circuits
and powerful electromagnets.
And,
what are the drawbacks of superconductors?
Answers to "What are the benefits of loss free-power transmission using a superconductor"
RE: What are the benefits of loss free-power transmission using a superconductor?

The thing is that how will we cool it down enough for it to become a super conductor. We will probably loose more energy by cooling it down than energy we will gain. The benifits of it are that there is no resistance. The computers will be extreemly fast and use barely any power. If we ever discover a way to make the superconductors without using a lot of energy to cool them down then we would not loose efficiency by delivering power through power lines.
